The classroom of the Cooking School allows to realize both demonstration courses and practical courses. All the courses include a cultural introduction, a deepening of the quality of raw materials and practical activities.
Mario was born in Grassano, near Matera, he’s been a chef around several restaurant in Italy and then returned to his homeland where he runs the cuisine of Villa Cirigliano.
He has gone through the international cuisine, the creative, the Nouvelle cuisine to return to the products of his land with which he offers simple and tasty dishes in its many catering activities. His cuisine is a synthesis between the tools that technology makes available to him and the high quality of raw materials.
Mario is also ambassador of typical Lucanian products abroad with “The regional association of Lucanian Chef” and is convinced that the return to the land, to local producers will be a real movement able to produce sustainable development. He’s known for his passion for ice sculptures.
